The original Tuscan winery building with its wrought iron
balconies, stained glass windows and red tiled roof is being expanded to
include a destination visitor center with picnic area and educational vineyard.
An extensive 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art cave system is being constructed, which will provide perfect ageing conditions for 8,000 barrels of wine.
Always environmentally sensitive, Chardonnay reclaims and recycles the water used to wash barrels and keep equipment clean. The source of this water is a gravity-flow mountain spring.
There are 30 picnic area located throughout the vineyards under centuries old oak trees. Visitors enjoy the close proximity to wildlife and natural surroundings thanks to the wildlife preserves and corridors established by Chardonnay which enable animals to move freely throughout the property.
